I went to the World Tai Chi/Qigong Day event at Aldrich Park on UCI campus (Jeni and Phil were married there?) and participated in doing Tai Chi led by Master Su Zifang billed as "The Queen of Tai Chi." There were about 200 people there, some of us wearing the Tai Chi our instructor, Dr. Shin Yin sold us. Master Su Zifang was wearing a slick pale green pant suit with a wide brimmed hat (Good idea. I suffered under the hot sun for three hours with no hat.) looking very unasian, I must say. There were demonstrations by other "Masters" with fans and swords. Very elegant performances.
I didn't want to be encumbered so I left my handbag with cellphone in the car. Wish I had it with me to take some photos to post here!
